Xbox 360 Call Of Duty Modern Warefare 2 Cannot Find A Game?

I was playing a game with my mate and then out of no where i was disconnected and was unable to sign into live for about 3 minutes. i then signed back into Xbox live and searched for a game. it first says, “Need to find 7 more players” then “found 50 possible games” and begins to go from 0% to 100%, in this time is rarely goes from 0/50 possible matches to 3/50. after that it doesnt even test the games it just restarts the whole process again. im am on a wired cable in Melbourne, Australia and it is very hot here. Could someone please help me?

Is Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One The Same Game As Call Of Duty 2 For Xbox 360?

The store clerk gave me some misinformation…anyways I bought the new 360 game Call of Duty 2 and discovered I have the old one only it also has the words Call of Duty 2 “Red One” for the original machine at home. Are they the same game? It is for a gift for my husband so if they are the same I need to replace it before the big b’day.
