In Call Of Duty 2 For Xbox 360, When It Says To Press R, What Does It Mean?

There’s no button marked R, and when you press the right hand “shoulder” button on the top of the controller, that doesn’t seem to be the right one. We’re playing as Russian soldiers, trying to attack some mannequin by bludgeoning it, but we can’t find the R.
