still a bit of uncertainty to this borderlands mw2 cloudy with a chance of meatballs ghost busters and ufc all seem to be the culprits although some people who have been banned played an original game straight after and where allowed to sign back in no banned message rule of thumb if you want to play a game before release remove the hdd and the ethernet before playing and also clear the cache before going online again (hold sync power up wait until dashboard then release sync button clears console cache)

always run your iso through agbx before you burn and play it. microsoft is definitely cracking down on people but not everyone. if everything is correct then you won’t get banned, how do i know, because my mw2 is burned and no ban. borderlands is getting people banned too but still not me. always, and i mean ALWAYS run your iso through agbx. get it from here: http://www.abgx.net/
note: make sure you check the box “disable writes” and then click “launch” and it will tell you if the iso has been stealth patched right and is safe to play?

if you signed into live with the same account that you played mw2 with or with that profile on your hard drive then that would be the reason In order to play a burnt game on a flashed drive before it is released than you have to use a memory card so that you can take the profile back off before you sign back in especially if you got any achievements.

what a dumbass why would you even attempt to play a game before it comes out in stores. FAIL to everyone who has modded systems stop buying games they can’t detect if you system is modded on there own. every game out out after october 16th has something different in it and it communicates with them through xbox live. i suggest to all hackers enjoy the run while it last and stock up on all old games because from here on out WE have to buy real ones

do you hear yourself? “i din’t play any game before release date but i was playing codmwf2″ – THAT MEANS YOU WERE PLAYING A GAME BEFORE IT CAME OUT! they can tell if you’re system has been modded and if a game is burned. you only help them by playing before it comes, which is still 4 days away. what a clown.

well to be honest me and my friend are online but dont look for matches in the server in mw2 we play splitscreen you should call microsoft and tell them that it dosent make sense and that u got hacked and that who ever haked u played modernwarfare 2

Microsoft learned that people had gotten a hold of Modern Warfare 2. It wouldn’t surprise me that put something out on the network to see if anybody was playing it. Then just cut them off.
